Rewired360 Policies and Procedures and Participant Agreement

Registration Policies:

This agreement is to prepare prospective trainees to the expectations and requirements of attending an EMDR Basic Training.

 BASIC TRAINING ELIGIBILITY It is the responsibility of the consultee to ensure you meet the current eligibility requirements for EMDR basic training. Clinicians are responsible for ensuring they are working within their own mental health scope of practice and ensuring your ability to diagnose and treat mental health issues.

TIME FRAME AND Requirements FOR COMPLETION OF EMDR BASIC TRAINING Trainees who begin the EMDR basic training must complete the entire training within 12 months from their initial start date.    This includes the 10 consultation hours.  There is leeway in the event of humanitarian crisis or another extenuating event.  If you miss a portion of basic training, you may attend the next instructional or practicum at the next basic training offered within 6 months of the initial training.  To receive your basic training certificate, you must complete all of the following:

1. Instructional (20 hours) - A minimum of 18 hours must be presented live (instructor led) & a maximum of 2 hours can be asynchronous content (self-directed learning) as defined in the History and Overview portion of the Instructional Section. B. Practicum (20 hours) - all hours must be completed live (synchronously)
2. Consultation (10 hours) - all hours must be completed live (synchronously). All consultation hours will be offered up to 10 hours. It is the responsibility of the trainee to pay for any missed consultations at a rate of $90 per hour.

Trainers will  provide trainees with the names and contact information of those consultants  who can provide the consultation hours for their training.  You may only receive consultation from Rewired360 Consultants, or consultants approved by their licensees.

Rewired360 Trainers will have the available resources and capacity for trainings and must ensure that trainees are afforded sufficient opportunity to complete the training.

POLICY FOR CHANGING 2ND WEEKEND

• The charge for changing or missing (more than 3 hours of) the second weekend after registration and attending a different one is $375.00. Certain circumstances may have the fee waived.

• BASIC TRAINING ELIGIBILITY Trainers are responsible for ensuring that prospective trainees meet the current eligibility requirements for EMDR basic training. EMDRIA is not responsible for verifying individual clinician’s scope of practice and/or determining their ability to assess, diagnose and treat for mental health issues. Clinicians are responsible for ensuring they are working within their own mental health scope of practice.
• Documents:  You will have access to your on demand portal with all the tools, resources and information necessary for the training.
• Grievances
• Please contact [email protected]. It is our policy that you must first attempt to resolve the concern with the trainer. In the event you are unable to do so, your grievance will be reviewed by a third party.  Grievances must be submitted within 3-5 days of completion of the training.
• Live Virtual Trainings comply with the Americans Disabilities Act. We will not discriminate and will ensure equal opportunity for persons with disabilities.  We will be sure that facilities and reasonable accommodations are accessible to those with disabilities.  Please contact presenter at [email protected]  if special accommodations need arranging.
• LIMITATION ON CLASS SIZE Virtual EMDR basic training class sizes must be limited to a maximum of 100 trainees. For In Person EMDR basic trainings there is no current limitation in place for class sizes.

On Demand Training Requirements: Participants will be required to view all recorded videos, pass a post-test, and complete an evaluation at the end of the course. The passing rate is 85% for the post-test and can be taken repeatedly.  There are no refunds for on Demand Services.  The customer is solely responsible for purchases.

LEARNER ASSESSMENT 

You are required to complete a quiz and evaluation in addition to 10 consultation hours prior to issuing your EMDR Basic Training Certificate.  You are responsible for your own consultation hours and tracking and obtaining verification from your consultant you received 10 hours of consultation.  Documentation must be provided prior to issuing your certificate.

BASIC TRAINING CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION 

Rewired360 will issue a final EMDR basic training certificate of completion to trainees once they  complete the entire (50 hour minimum) course. The certificate must include the trainee’s name,  the name of the EMDR Trainer(s), the training organization (if applicable), total number of  training hours for the course (50 hour minimum) and the date (month/day/year) they completed  the EMDR basic training. Those who complete the training can refer to themselves as  “EMDR Trained”.

1. Trainees must complete all instructional, practicum and consultation hours within 12 months of starting the training in order to receive a certificate of completion.

Cancellations and Refunds

In the event a cancellation should occur, we will gladly refund the full amount minus a $30 service fee up until 30 days prior to the onset of the training.  In the event cancellation occurs after 30 days prior to the training, we are unable to provide refunds, credits or accommodations due to the nature of the time investment in the training.  Please be mindful of your electronic access to the session, as we are unable to assist with troubleshooting during the training, including issues with WiFi.  All refunds electronically are subject to deduction of electronic processing fees from refunded amount. If you require assistance with translation services, please know we are only able to offer the sessions in the English language. All cancellations must be requested in writing.

POLICY FOR MISSING TRAINING HOURS

• The charge for rescheduling to make up any missed portion of the training over 20 minutes is billed at $125 per missed hour with a minimum charge of one hour. This may not apply to computer or internet malfunction if it is quickly followed with a phone call and/or resolution.
• Any missed portion of the training over 20 minutes must be approved in advance and approval may not be possible depending on time and day of the training.

POLICY FOR MAKING UP A CONSULTATION GROUP

• The charge for making up a group after the second weekend has been completed is $50.00 per group hour or $100 per individual hour.

If you need to cancel your training, you are also given the option to participate in the next available training not to exceed 6 months of the original training date to ensure the 10 hours of consultation is complete. The participant can reschedule their training to another eligible training within 6 months of the original training date.

Access to Online Educational System

All forms and learning materials are available with the Rewired360 learning management system accessible through the website at www.rewired360.com  Here you will find access to all information relevant to training and education with Rewired360 Basic Training.  Here you will have access to a Free EMDR Resource Library and a Free EMDR Online community as you travel through your basic training.  This format is to support your learning process and increase the ability to connect with fellow clinicians after the training.

Exceptions Related to Case Conceptualization Kit for Death, Dying and Bereavement for EMDR and general therapists (collectively, the “Kit” or “Kits”) – The products are intended for the sole use by the purchaser and are not permitted to be sold or resold to any third party. The entity or individual who has rightfully and validly purchased a product is permitted by the Owner to distribute the product materials to their patients for the intended use as described within each offering. The product and any of the materials within it may not be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form with the intention to sell all of or any portion of such materials or to be used outside of each product’s intended application (ie: by the purchaser for their patients).

Indemnification.  By using and or implementing the course materials and products from Rewired360 you will at all times indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Living Full Circle, LLC, its managers, directors, officers, employees, agents, licensees, successors, and assigns from and against any and all third party claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of any damages as a result of your, your company’s, or your businesses’ use or implementation of the products and materials. If the owner shall seek indemnification, you agree to give the owner the right to participate in the defense and settlement of any such claim; provided, however, that you may not, without the company’s prior written approval, settle or dispose of any claim of which you have agreed to accept the defense.

Exculpation. You expressly waive any and all claims against Living Full Circle, LLC, direct or indirect, including, without limitation, claims relative to the use and/or implementation of the materials by you, your company, your business. Furthermore, you agree that the owner and company shall not be liable to you, your company, your business or any third party for any injury sustained by the you, your company, your business, its employees, independent contractors, invitees, patients, students, or any other third party through the use or implementation of the products and materials furnished by Living Full Circle, LLC. 

Please note there are no refunds on any digital products or courses.
