Discover the Empower360 Scholarship Fund by Rewired360, dedicated to fostering the growth of BIPOC EMDR colleagues in the EMDR Career Path.

Rewired360 recognizes challenges Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC). One of these includes education. BIPOC individuals have historically had poorer access to quality education, fewer opportunities to pursue advanced education, and even fewer opportunities towards specialty training and certifications.   Rewired360 will offer scholarships to support advanced EMDR Certification and EMDR Consultant designations with EMDRIA.  Rewired360 is proud to offer the following annual scholarships for training and advanced certifications, specifically available to BIPOC professionals. Scholarships are available specifically to Rewired360 trainings.

1.EMDR Certification and Consultation Programs Scholarship:

  • This scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for EMDR Certification and EMDR Consultation Programs (A $1500 Value)
  • Includes 20 hours of consultation towards EMDR Certification and becoming an EMDR Consultant.

Application Guidelines and Criteria: To apply for the Rewired360 Scholarship, please submit a comprehensive personal statement addressing the following:

  1. Identifying Information: Provide your name, city & state, email, degree, license (if applicable), profession, work setting, and populations you serve.
  2. Scholarship & Training Details: Specify the scholarship you are applying for (Certification or Consultation) including training dates or mention if applying to all open sessions for EMDR Consultation and Certification Programs.
  3. Share insights about yourself as a professional. When and where did you complete your EMDR Basic Training.
  4. Describe your work setting and populations you serve.
  5. BIPOC Self-Identification: Clarify if you identify as a BIPOC clinician impacted by systemic racism concerning fair, quality, and advanced educational opportunities.
  6. Professional Background: Share insights about yourself as a professional, when and where you were EMDR trained and 2 professional goals. 
  7. Utilization of Advanced Training: Explain how you intend to make a difference in the world with the knowledge gained from being EMDR Certified or an EMDR Consultant
  8. Share how this scholarship will benefit you and how you plan to use your training to influence other EMDR Clinicians.

Application Parameters:

  • Applicants must be U.S. Residents.
  • Applications are accepted at any time but must be submitted at least 1 month before the requested training date.
  • Application deadline is March 15, 2024 for programs beginning April 2024.
  • Each applicant can receive only one scholarship  throughout their lifetime to ensure fairness and increased opportunities for financial assistance.
  • Training must be completed within 1 year of scholarship award.
  • Standard cancellation and attendance policies apply to scholarship recipients.
  • In case of cancellation, the scholarship may be forfeited, with exceptions considered for emergencies, sickness, and crises on a case-by-case basis.
  • Scholarships are non-transferrable.
