Barbara Sheehan-Zeidler, MA, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Creative and Caring Counseling in Littleton, Colorado. She is an EMDR Trainer, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and Certified EMDR Therapist. Barbara is committed to the work of trauma healing and brings depth and compassion to her clinical and teaching roles. She is Level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and certified in IFS Somatic Integration, with additional advanced trainings in EMDR therapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Polyvagal Theory, Sandplay, and Natural Processing. She regularly presents at local and international conferences, and facilitates workshops to support agency leaders and their teams. Rooted in a relational, collaborative, and holistic approach, Barbara values “moment-to-moment attunement” and trusting the process. Whether offering therapy, consultation, or a training, her down-to-earth, playful presence invites warmth, accessibility, and embodiment that emphasizes safety, curiosity, and connection. Outside of her professional life, Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, upcycling furniture, and exploring Colorado’s hiking trails.
